 I was working as a lecturer at a medical college between 1998-2000. Was working as Medical Advisor between 2000 to 2002 with Goodhealth n You (during the tenure had few interactions with you - on email or via Dr. Devdutt). At Good Health was one of the team members in building the site content and responding the queries we use to receive. Had worked as a Project Manager between 2002 to 2003 at Indegene Lifesystems Pvt. Ltd. In 2003 we started the first medical communication venture - Adroit Insights Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd. I did a PG diploma from ACE in clinical research and converted Adroit Insights as a CRO. However, since I was totally involved with the publications part it was only on paper and apart from few PMS did not do anything and eventually decided to withdraw the private limited company. Since Adroit Insights was converted into a CRO it\'s parallel Scientica Life Sciences Private Limited was started in 2005 for medical communication. Scientica Life Sciences Private Limited is basically working as medical communication agency for pharmaceutical companies. Few of our esteemed clients include GSK, Pfizer, Novartis, Merck and many others. We were (or rather still are) a B-to-B company, however, personally was keen to start at least few B-to-C products. While developing medical content for various pharma projects has often read about WHO\'s Quality of Life project and details of the same with the CDC web site. Felt that no publication is addressing to the WHO\'s project and it can be evolved further which formed the basis of this periodical.  

The objectives of the periodical are based on the concept of Quality of Life derived by WHO as well as communicated by CDC, around which will revolve the articles, patient stories, health news, lifestyle and day-to-living features in the magazine.

The title Quality of Living has been allotted to Scientica Life Sciences Private Limited by the registrar of newspapers for India and the magazine is in its registration phase and should get registered in next couple of months. The registration application includes Scientica Life Sciences Private Limited as the owner of the magazine and my self Dr. Ashutosh Pradhan as printer, publisher and editor (as per the PRB act).
