Behram Ghista - Spiritual Director

Behram Ghista, born in Mumbai, in 1955, has been studying and practicing the Buddhist way of life since 1980. Trained under various Masters in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Japan, he experienced his deepest insight in May 1988, during one of his solitary retreats in the Himalayan landscape.
In 1989, after long and fruitful years of study and practice, Behram was authorized to teach the Dharma by Lama Zopa Rinpoche, who is the spiritual Director of The Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), which has over 132 centres worldwide. Since then, he conducts talks, workshops and retreats, as an accomplished international teacher in India and abroad.
Behram is a qualified Graphic Designer with a Masters Degree from the USA and, therefore, he brings a multi-dimensional and global approach to his teachings. His talks and workshops take place in a relaxed, though passionate and focused atmosphere. Although the content of his teachings is deep and profound, wit and humour play an important role in keeping the delivery simple, lucid, and inspirational.
Master Behram’s life is now dedicated to transforming the lives of those who seek distinction and excellence built on universal values, ideals and principles that make for sound and exceptional living.
In a fun environment, he encourages his students to ask questions about the quality and effectiveness of their lives and relationships.
