( By Dr. Krishna Murari Modi )
Thank you Dr. karan singh for writing a foreword. I have every reason to be grateful for your learned comments. More so because of the outstanding work you have done as a public figure, particularly as Health Minister of India.
Thank you Mr. M.R. Husain, our most renowned artist of the country for the cover. This cover interpretation has come as a blessing to me. The "panchtatwa" on the cover represents the basic five elements from which the body is made up: the earth, the sun, the air, the water and the sky. Body can be treated back to health from illness by the use of these elements.
Thank you Mr. Mario Miranda for filling in this dry subject of health with fun with lively cartoons. I take this opportunity to congratulate you on securing the distinguished award of Padma Shri.Thank you Benedict costa, my good friend and guide, for constant encouragement and grooming and shaping this book by your authoritative editorial advice.
Thank you my father Dr. Vithal Das Modi. Without you this book would not be a reality. For seven long years you have been a source of inspiration. Your guidance and reading of the manuscript, line by line, and giving me your critical advice have contributed greatly to it.
